Al escuchar a estudiantes y docentes hablar de solidaridad en los tiempos actuales, se observa que existe una gran ambigüedad con relación al significado del término. Se refieren indistintamente a cooperación, generosidad, ayuda, fraternidad, unión, apoyo e identificación con la necesidad del otro, entre otras acepciones, las cuales han conducido en general a un uso simplista y mecánico del término. Si bien poner en escena la connotación del concepto pareciera algo ajeno a los intereses de la sociedad contemporánea, es importante indagar sobre uno de los valores más convocados a practicar, cuyo significado la mayoría de las veces es manipulado o degradado por los medios de comunicación. Para tal fin, se desarrolla una investigación sobre el concepto de solidaridad a través de la elaboración de un estado del arte, como forma de apropiación del conocimiento, que pretende aportar una mirada diferente al tema en cuestión. En los últimos años, dicho concepto se ha tratado de forma casi exclusiva por parte de la economía solidaria, por lo cual se ha escogido realizar la investigación desde una perspectiva interdisciplinar entre la ética, la sociología y las ciencias jurídicas. Como resultado de la investigación se exponen las tendencias actuales del concepto, orientadas al entendimiento del uso y significado del mismo en la sociedad actual.

By listening to students and teachers speak of solidarity in modern times, it is observed that there is a lot of ambiguity, vagueness about it sometimes because the meanings refer interchangeably to cooperation, generosity, help, brotherhood, unity, support, identify with the need for another, among other uses which have led to a general use of the term mechanical and simplistic. Although staging the connotation of the concept seems alien to the interests of contemporary society, it is important to investigate one of the values to practice squad, which most often is manipulated or debased by the media. To this end, we develop a research on the concept of solidarity through the development of a state of the art, as a form of appropriation of knowledge, which aims to provide a different look to the subject matter, given that in recent years, this concept has been treated almost exclusively by the solidarity economy, so do it is chosen from an interdisciplinary perspective between ethics, sociology and legal sciences. As a result of research presents the current trends of the concept, aimed at understanding the use and meaning of work in today's society.
