Conflict resolution through cooperative learning and a foreign language plays an important role in language learning (de León 2013). The following study was aimed at the criterion of the possible effects of learning cooperative learning and the resolution of conflicts trough foreign language. Different activities based on cooperative learning were established in order to identify if students could solve conflicts in a classroom and also acquire vocabulary in foreign language. The present research study of mixed participatory action used: field diaries, videos and surveys to collect data on how children can resolve conflicts and with whom can they count in case of any problem. The data was analyzed with the approach of the grounded theory. This study had as main objective that children could solve the conflicts that arise in the classroom using the cooperative learning. This supports the notion of cooperative learning as an effective approach to conflict resolution.
